Nick-A-Palooza
Nick a Palooza was again a great success. Thanks to all of our volunteers, sponsors, Bands, and all who came out to make this a great day!We were able to raise 30k dollars (before expenses) that day. Everyone who came out dug deep into their pockets to raise the money that enables us to support Research, Education, and Awareness of Traumatic Brain Injury. We will also be helping some families who are living with TBI. We are proud to say that four of the families that we have already helped came out to show their support and join us in this important cause.
I would also like to point out that Lockport Porters Hockey Club is still giving out the Nick Kot Award each year to the player that has the qualities that Nick had when he played hockey, love of the game, always kept the moral up in the locker room, and always smiling, but most important lots and lots of heart. Nick's dad Bob and I, Trisha were proud to present the award to Brian Donchez.
Here are the pictures from that day they really tell the story of what a great day it was. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. This is becoming more than the vision I had for this charity. Nick is looking down on us with great pride.

Nick Kot Memorial Golf Outing
When: Sept. 17th 2011Thank you to all who came out for the golf outing. Your generosity still amazes me year after year. A special thanks to my helpers I can not do it without you. And a very very special thanks to my Son Bobby with out him and all his hard work this would not still be going on. It is one of my favorite days of the year. To the winners that donated the winnings back to the charity THANK YOU! It will surely help many people.
